Bonnets can be confusing for new time wearers as the bonnets seem to have multiple style options.
⋒ With bonnet "A" (pixie style) you want the smooth edge to be where the face is. The rougher edge, indicated as zig zags on the image, is placed around the neck. In addition the point is shaped like a fin, instead of a slope. There are styles with the other point option but this pattern asks for the above mentioned way.
⋒ With bonnet "B" (round style) you want to make sure that the longer side is where the face is and the shorter side goes around the neck.
