I wish I could say that I'm writing this post with no issues, however I am sitting here with cold hands, a runny nose and a hurting head but that's not going stop me. Today I wanted to show you how you can pair a bonnet with everyday clothes. You don't need frosty cold snow weather to whip out that stylish bonnet.

Depending on the style of your bonnet, you can easily wear it with temperatures ranging from chilly to pleasently warm. Bonnets not only keep your little one's head warm but also protects it from strong sun rays.

Below I have an outfit combining one of the styles that I used to carry (holler, if you'd like to see this pixie style in the shop). This specific pattern uses a single crochet and is more tightly crocheted than the others that I carry. By using this stitch, this bonnet can be used for colder temperatures because it blocks out more air, however it is also a perfect fit for those chilly mornings or evenings, when you just need that extra warmth.

I combined this beautiful mustard colored bonnet with a T-Shirt from H&M that has that same shade in the dino print with a pair of overalls from NEXT.

Well won't you look at that, my hands have warmed up from typing and my headache is gone a bit. I wish I could add a comment section, so you can leave me your thoughts or ideas of what I should post next on my blog. Until I figure that out, go over to my CONTACT page and send me a message or DM me on Instagram or Facebook!

Although the new year is already nine days old, I would like to wish you all a happy new year!

When I first started hagebutte.usa in May of 2020 it was solely to use it as a platform to sell bonnets and other items I made at the time.

As the years passed I noticed that my page wasn't getting as much traffic as I had hoped for. Instead of giving up and shutting down my site, I reached out to family, friends and strangers to help me improve my website.

I had spent a lot of time and money on it already and I didn't want that hard work go to waste. Jotting down all the suggestions that came in, I sat down to implement them as best as I could. One change being this blog section.

To be honest, I don't know if anyone will ever read this or even scroll through the other pages I have but do know that I have enjoyed and still enjoy every bit I have done on this website, from taking pictures, adding models, writing this blog, being present on social media, spending time tweaking things and cheering myself on.

With that being said I do hope you spend some time on my site to browse through it and see what it has to offer and if you like it, love it or gotta have it (now I have a taste for Coldstone Creamery) make sure to spread the word or in nowaday terms, the link.
